Friendly and knowledgeable staff met me through each stage of my care. Aside from being in quite a bit of pain, it was an excellent experience all around. I would definitely choose to go there or take my family there if care was needed

I had the most amazing experience at Albuquerque ER&hospital. The doctors are amazing, kind and willing to explain things to you in ways you understand. The nurses are companionate and willing to go the extra mile for you. I had the pleasure of staying with them for 5 days and not one complaint. I highly recommend this hospital.

On 6/15/26, I traveled 12 hours to New Mexico to visit family (for my son’s planned engagement). That evening, while trying to be the cool aunt & mom, I lost my balance while doing a dance move in the backyard and fell backwards- hitting a large and solid planter pot with the back of my head. After examining the wound, my family said we were going to need to find an urgent care. While driving through Rio Rancho, we quickly realized that at 9pm, there weren’t going to be any urgent care options near us. My father in law remembered seeing signs for the Albuquerque ER & Hospital and driving by it often, so we headed that direction! At 10 pm- the place was pretty quiet, they got me in fairly quick and out of state paperwork was a breeze. I ended up needing 4 staples put in and having a CT scan done. They were all so very understanding and gentle- as they worked with me. I left with wound care supplies, a prescription for nausea (from the mild concussion), and clear discharge instructions. Once I went to check out, I found out they have a heroes discount for the co-pay and substitute teaching fell under that. So my co-pay amount was waived! They were very helpful, kind, and professional- throughout the whole process and I would highly recommend them for anyone needing urgent or emergency care- in the Rio Rancho, Corrales, or Albuquerque areas.

Went in with an order for an mri and my pre auth paperwork and they got me in at that moment. The other two places I could go were up to two months out for scheduling. I got the mri done, a disc burned for me right after , and results emailed to me within 2 hours!! Amazing! And the staff were so kind and helpful. Highly recommend Alb ER!!!
