Kimberly Valerio, RN, BSN is the Chief Administrator and Chief Nursing Officer of Albuquerque ER & Hospital. A seasoned healthcare executive, Kimberly brings more than 30 years of healthcare experience and over 40 years of total leadership experience spanning hospital operations, nursing, project management, accounting, and property management. She has built a reputation for developing exceptional teams, driving operational excellence, and creating a culture where both employees and patients feel valued.
Throughout her career, Kimberly has successfully opened and led healthcare facilities, guided organizations through complex accreditation and regulatory processes, and delivered strong clinical, operational, and financial performance. Among her proudest accomplishments is helping build a workplace culture recognized as a Best Place to Work for five consecutive years—an honor based on the voices and votes of the employees themselves.
Kimberly’s leadership philosophy is simple: set high expectations, lead by example, and take care of the people who take care of others.
