ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (June 2, 2026) — Albuquerque ER & Hospital will mark seven years of service on June 4, reflecting its growing role in expanding access to emergency and inpatient care across the Albuquerque community.
“Seven years of serving Albuquerque means seven years of being there for our neighbors during their most vulnerable moments,” said Kim Valerio, Chief Nursing Officer at Albuquerque ER & Hospital.
Since opening in 2019, the hospital has remained dedicated to providing compassionate, accessible emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care, serving as an alternative to traditional emergency facilities, including during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. This commitment has helped establish Albuquerque ER & Hospital as a trusted health care partner for families, employers, and first responders throughout the region.
The hospital continues to evolve to meet community needs, focusing on reducing wait times, expanding on-site diagnostic services, and introducing new treatments such as iron infusions. In June 2023, the organization further expanded access by opening a sister facility, Albuquerque ER & Hospital – East, on Montgomery and Wyoming.
