Dr. Derek DeTemple, DO

Dr. DeTemple has over 17 years of experience in emergency medicine and an extensive educational background in providing critical care. He received his Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at Detroit Riverview Hospital and his residency at Garden City Hospital.

Dr. DeTemple moved to Albuquerque with the promise to provide exceptional service in care and skills for all medical emergencies. He fell in love with the city, the climate, and the outdoor recreational opportunities. In his free time, he likes to spend time with his wife and children. Also, he is an avid runner and has run over 40 marathons, including the Boston Marathon, 11 times.
